Bell Tent Build Team Job Description – Summer
Do you love working outdoors? Do you enjoy working as part of a team? Do you love to be hands on? If yes, then Wildernest has the perfect role for you!
Wildernest, a high-end bespoke glamping company, is looking for proactive individuals to be part of their bell tent build team this Summer. You will be setting up and packing down the Wildernest Glamping Village for weddings, corporate events and festivals. The role involves heavy lifting, unpacking tents and equipment, setting up and furnishing the tents and setting up lounge areas. Therefore, being strong, fit and able to lift heavy weights is a must for this role.
Setting up the Wildernest Glamping Village entails long days in all weather conditions; long days in the sun and sometimes in the rain, so you need to be able to keep up good spirits, be positive and work well together with your team. You must have a positive can-do attitude no matter what the weather and be able to take instruction from your team leader. You must also show initiative for sorting out all kinds of problems and have a “let’s get on with it – the sooner we start, the sooner we finish” attitude. A good work ethic together with a sense humour helps here!
Along with setting up the tents, you will also help with setting up the lighting, basic plumbing for the shower units and hooking up power and water supplies. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a plumber or electrician by any means - just practical minded! Training will be provided.
Wildernest also has another brand called ‘Mujintu Design’ which designs and builds furniture so if you have skills in carpentry or building then we would definitely love to hear from you. A forklift/car or truck license is also a bonus!
You must be totally committed for the Summer, which means anywhere from 25hrs – 50hrs per week through from November until March.
If you feel you meet the expectations above and this sounds like a dream role for you, then please send a copy of your CV, a headshot photo and an outline of why you think you should be considered for the team to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Bell Tent Build Team.
If you are successful for the role, then you will be invited to an Induction Training day due to be held in October.
